1) "January 1" - Big Bang. The Big Bang theory is an idea about how the world was created. The creation of the world, whichever way it may have been, is obviously the most important event in history.

2) "November 1" - Invention of sex (by microorganisms). The "invention" of sex is the reason we are living today. Without it none of us would reproduce and create new life. The world population has grown because there are many people living. There are people living because there are mothers who gave birth to them. Mothers were able to give birth because a man and a woman had sex.

3) "December 31 - 10:30 PM" First Humans. Each and every one of us is a human. Your mother and father are human. Your children will be human. Humans "run this world."

4) "December 31 - 11:59:51 PM" Invention of the alphabet; Akkadian Empire. The alphabet is used every second of our lives. We communicate using words...that are made up of letters...together combined to create what we call the alphabet.

5) 800 Thousand Years Ago - Man learns to control and use fire. We use fire in hundreds of ways. Warmth, cooking, burning, boiling, etc. Back before electricity was discovered, fire was the only way of warmth besides lots of layers.
